Moonshot follows Sandgarden employees as they try to turn ideas into a viable business. Plans change. Products take shape. Decisions have to be made before anyone knows whether they’re the right ones.
It’s a story about grief, uncertainty, communication, love, and the peculiar business of trying to hit a moving target as AI constantly redefines what the target actually is.

From separate rooms, a small remote team tries to figure it out together. Liz, Marty and their colleagues are making the calls… and living with what comes next.
With unprecedented, unlimited access—to all internal company meetings, interviews with employees who quit or were laid off, and life on-site in people’s homes—the filmmakers follow the team’s quest to develop a product with a year of runway left, limited leads, and personal tribulations.
